Phu Nguyen attended a Bachelor of Law Course at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia in 1988 and graduated in 1994.
During 1994-1998, Phu Nguyen was employed at a well-known Law Firm, Colin Daley Quinn Solicitors (which has been in practice since the 1960s) first as a paralegal and subsequently as an employed Solicitor.
In 1995, Phu Nguyen completed the Advanced Diploma in Legal Practice (College of Law).
In 1996, Phu Nguyen was admitted to practice as Solicitor (Attorney-at-Law) of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia and became a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, Australia.
In 1998, Phu Nguyen established his own Legal Practice, Phu Nguyen & Associates Lawyers in Bankstown (NSW).
In 2005, Phu Nguyen & Associates Lawyers opened a new branch in Cabramatta (NSW) to cater for the growing demand to service clients from different ethnic backgrounds.
Phu Nguyen has efficiently advised clients on numerous matters involving wide-ranging areas of legal practice from non-litigious to litigious matters. He has successfully represented clients in the Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales. District Court, Local Court and Tribunal as well as in Alternative Dispute Resolutions Process (ADR).
Phu Nguyen is an active member in the community and has acted as legal advisor for the formation of the Unified Vietnamese Buddhist Association of Australia and New Zealand Inc.
